Bob Smith - Tournament Director

Bob Smith has served on the Board of Directors for the Amateur Hockey Association of North Texas (Dallas Stars Selects, now the Texas Tornado) as the Vice President of Administration since 2001.  Additionally, he directs the three tournaments that the Stars host each year.  The three events have become the largest hockey tournaments in the Southwest and typically hosts over 100 teams which are attended by teams from all over the United States, and Internationally as well.

In 2009,. Bob also served as a Tournament Co-Chairman for the USA Hockey National Championships in Frisco Texas, and as the Tournament Chairman for the 2011 Tier 1 Rocky Mountain District Championships in Farmers Branch Texas. This year he will also co-chair the 2012 Disabled Hockey Festival in April.

Bob, his wife Letha, and their two boys, Jarred and Bradley, live in Irving (Valley Ranch) Texas.
