News ArchiveDSS - NTXHL Bantam AA Champions! The Dallas Stars Selects Bantam AA team coached by Jeremy Law, defeated Oklahoma 4-2, and 2-1 to take championship in best of 3 series. Congratulations to a team that has shown steady and consistent improvement throughout the season, on their development and achievements this season! Wolverine Cup Tournament Champions! The Dallas Stars Selects- Midget Major AA Team went a perfect 5-0 to become the 2009 Wolverine Cup Champions. Captain, Monk Henz(1G,5A) was named Tournament MVP. Monk Henz, Brandon Harley (5G,1A) & Charlie Busch(3G,3A) lead the tournament scoring with 6 points each. Goalie, David Kendall allowed only (1) goal in two games with (2) wins including an impressive semi-final victory over the Michigan Blues, 2-1 which was won in a nine deep shoot out. He also posted his first shut out of the season in a 5-0 victory over Cambrian Titans. Goalie, Ryan Potter posted (3) wins including a Championship 3-2 victory over the Titans, 4-2 win over the John Taylor Pipers & 5-3 win over the Skokie Flyers. The tournament victory was a total team effort against solid competition from Canada, Illinois and Michigan. |
